Was born in 1979 in Saransk.
Passed Saransk art school, Kharkov State Academy of design and arts. He is Member of Artist's Union of Russia since 2005.
Valentine Korotkov is among artists with optimistic perception of life and sensation of pleasure of existence. It is reflected in all works of this able artist.
Irrespectively to spectator’s attitude everyone will find in Korotkov’s painting some word, some mark intended only for him. An artist career is an infinite reflex sequence of his thoughts and feelings, sensations from the different countries where it happened to him to paint, of reality, experience and dreams.
